What franchises of video games do you think have been the most decent through out the years that, certain title has existed. What ones do you prefer to play, and which ones will stay strong for a long time.
I don't play alot of various video game series, but I'd have to go with Pokemon.
What's good about Pokemon is that it's perhaps the most flexible game there is; you choose the difficulty of the game, the "weapons" (in this case, Pokemon) you use, the pace you want to go at, and just the whole way it's played. It's also one of those games that could drag on forever even after you've beaten the game itself, with all those Pokemon to catch and train. Also, with the addition of Wi-Fi, people would be spending more and more time training their teams to perfection, so it's rarely likely to ever get boring soon.
The only thing bad about is the Gamecube games. I don't think Pokemon (the RPG) was meant for consoles. I mean, it's still fun, but training just doesn't have the same flavor and doesn't grip your attention as much as the good ol' portable games. Basically, RPGs where all you do is click around isn't really right for consoles. They're more for "live action" (where you shoot grenades at each other and physically dodge the attack, etc.) games.

Like Pokemon XD? and Colloseum?
I have Gale of Darkness, But after you beat the game, the only people that can battle you then makes training your Pokemon harder, They give too little EXP.
Its too hard to purify Shadow Lugia, too.
