Which non-legendary or pseudo-legendary (Metagross, Garchomp, Salamence, Dragonite, Tyrannitar) do you think should be legendary? I believe the following should be legendary or have some other legendary status;
Lapras - It's one of very few Pokemon (mostly being legendary Pokemon) that can speak via telepathy. Also exceedingly rare, much to the extent of the legendaries. Absol - Every time Absol appears before people, it is followed by a disaster such as an earthquake or a tidal wave, which makes it sound powerful like a legendary. Rotom - Because it has the same battle music as Giratina and Heatran. Spiritomb - Looks like a legendary to me. Ninetails - Ninetails is a legend in PMD, why not in the standard games? Lucario - Lucario's a legendary that can get laid it seems. Arcanine - Its species is classified as 'Legendary Pokemon' oddly enough.

Completely agreed with Dragonite. As for Aerodactyl, they're just extinct Pokemon, nothing special other than rare.

true, but Arcanine should be counted, I mean, I trained one on Red Blue and Yellow and it powned my friend's Suicune

I remember hearing somewhere that Arcanine was supposed to be in one of the legendary bird's places, but I forget which one...

The legendary birdies weren't really a problem as I saw it, I find it stupid enough that many of the newer legendaries are taking over the old one's jobs; like how Groudon expands continents and I heard Heatran did something similar along those lines.

And because they can't come up with any more ideas.

Dunsparce... I've always wondered about that thing, it's mysterious because never have I seen it on an episode of the Pokemon anime!

Dunsparce : The Pokemon the Creators knew was garbage. The creators looked at it, crumpled it up and threw it into a garbage can, but then when they saw they were short on card and Pokedex numbers, they picked up a random wad from the trash can, and thus became the crummy Pokemon NONE use. The End.

Is all that true?

no, but it would match why dunseparce is a horrible Pokemon, anyway, I think Snorlax should be counted as a legendary as well

Snorlax may be cool, but I think it's too fat!
