1. No violence or talk of anything such as drugs, guns etc. We'd like to keep Jolteon's Hideout a friendly place.
2. Please try not to double post. This makes the forums look messy, go back and edit your post instead. If we find a double post we may just edit it ourselves, don't be too alarmed!
3. Capitals are allowed IF they are used correctly and with a point. Basically you can use them if you're not going to shout and flame at people.
4. No spamming, which means posting without any relevance to the topic. Also no going off topic.
5. No telling other members that they are breaking the rules if you don't know the rules yourself! And no telling people what to do! This is up to the admins/mods so please don't try it. If someone is breaking the rules on purpose, DO NOT REPLY TO THEM! Alert us instead! Try to help new people on the forums if they are doing something wrong without knowing. Pointing them to the rules in a friendly manner is a good idea.
6. Don't ever ask to be a moderator or admin. We decide who is worthy of managing the site and asking will earn you a warning.
7. No gravedigging old topics thad died over 4 months ago. Meaning you can bring up old topics if they would be good to start again. But if the topic upsets other members, then it's quite pointless.
(Currently, Gravedigging is allowed, because this forum has gone dead
)
8. No one shall flame or speak badly of ANY other website, you could really offend members of that site if they were to ever come across ours. Flaming other sites is wrong! Even if the owner is mean!
9. Don't pick on Newbies. Please try to help them instead! everyone is a newbie at some point, and we all make total idiots of ourselves. Don't bring people down. If it annoys you, then fix the problem! Don't make it worse!
10. Never EVER EVER bring up sex(I hate saying that >.<
or anything related to it, PLEASE!! It's one of our pet peeves, we are here to talk about things for all ages!!!
11. Speak in only English, please! If we are unable to understand things then we can't moderate the forums!
12. No "Your favorite Pokemon?" topics, that is what pinned topics are for. It is better to post in the threads that are already there than to start a new one that's exactly the same.
13. No advertising anywhere but the Advertising board! This means you can't post links to sites unless you are making a reference, or giving credit. Websites such as google and youtube are allowed.
14. No making "I will answer your questions" topics, they spoil the forums, and only the mods can make those, for interview purposes only.
